I don't know how y'all keep up with this thread I tried, but I'm failing miserably..it moves so fast!!

I hope everyone is having a good day today and that those who are hatching wee ones have a good hatch rate.

Nothing new here...just waiting on my constipated chicken eggs to get busy and hatch already.

Have some gold laced brahmas and some russian orloffs coming too but I'm getting a new bator for those - really sick of this cheapy one. If anyone has some recommendations for good incubators around $200 or less I'd like some suggestions. We ordered the octagon 20 and it was broken upon arrival so sent it back for a full refund. I'm not opposed to getting another one, but it broke during shipment which made me wonder about the structural integrity of it. =/

Jace's play was fun. It only lasted 12 minutes. I did video tape it. I also took a few pictures. I forgot to change the camera setting though, I hate when I do that. I also suck at video taping... LOL

Clucky, maybe if you had it shipped UPS or FedEx instead of postal service? I know accidents can happen, but maybe it'd be better luck with one of those? Or was it one of those?

I'm ok. Stupid hawk took a chick today. I was putting my boots on, looked out the window and it was flying away with it. I saw two by a nest in the neighbor's pasture. It took all my willpower not to knock it down.............if I had $20,000 to spare I totally would've, but alas, we're broke.

I need to get rid of a roo too. He's gorgeous though.....has almost the body of a bantam langshan, but with the feathers of a light brahma. He's really pretty, but being a jerk..........*sigh* hopefully I can find him a home instead of...the alternative.

Ummm, I could tell ya what my mom told me today. Scared the crap out of me, but it's probably not "post appropriate". Well, she also told me if I was going to be a baby she'd spank me like a baby. So she did. Spankings don't hurt as much as they used to.......
