My youngest discovered a hidden nest today. I still have our mudroom blocked off so one of the crazy leghorns has taken up laying her eggs in a burn barrel. We hardly ever burn things so it hasn't been used in quite a while, but still, in a burn barrel? Needless to say, those eggs are not going to be used at all. Heaven only knows what kind of stew those eggs have been sitting in. Stupid leghorn.
