Good Morning everyone....Robins coming today...

every time I say her name on the board, I have a twinge- like waiting to get chastised from the peanut gallery for hoarding robins..or stealing her eggs...Oooh I STOLE her BABIES. I really did- she gets to see how big they have gotten.

Im sending her home with my four d'uccles. I will miss them- but I think I have made the conclusion for all chickendom that millies and showgirls do not mix. They are too bossy to be around the showgirls.

Im having a hard time waking up today, I really REALLY could have slept in this morning.

insulated is so much better than just plastic. Our winters get COLD.. you may have a better plan that what I am picturing in my mind- but I would have to say if you are building new, then definitely I would insulate.

Hee hee Robin's eggs.....

Millies and Showgirls don't go together..........dang, I've really been wanting some Showgirls......oh well.....Unless maybe they could get into the Cochin/Faverolle bodyguard posse.........those girls are pretty nice and protective to everyone on the bottom, especially newbies. Hmmmm................

Oh, I've found two dead NN chicks. Broken necks. And a normal one that froze. And a little cockerel is missing.......bad week for the young'uns here

Yeah, I love d'Uccles, but they're jealous little turds. My three Porcelain girls fight over me. I pick up Sophie then Temple jumps on my head. Then Stoner shows up with her Cochin and Faverolles and yells at me until I pick her up. Then Sophie goes after everybody. Temple and Stoner are actually pretty nice to each other, but Stoner might have had her bodyguards threaten Temple so who knows.......

He's a Millie right silver? I had the most gorgeous Millie a guy gave me. He wanted to buy my Booted Millie hen, but I didn't want to sell her. So he just have me his roo. He was so frickin pretty............Porcelains are still my fave though....

Adding duccles AFTER the showgirls are grown might make a difference. In my case, the duccles were here first and they are bossy and pick on every thing smaller than them.
