Fuzzy's Farm

Okay. I just wanted to make sure! Thanks!
Oh No!
What other breeds do you have?
I would love a few hens that are already laying...
DUH! LOL
Kim and I are close to D town

My Andalusions just started laying about a week ago. I have a pair of beautiful Mottled Cochins, a trio of Silver Spangled Hamburgs, 6 Spitzhaubens, trio of Russian Orloffs, 1 silver laced Wyandott, that is laying, 10 Isa Browns that are laying, trio of Golden Campines, I have 3 young peacocks, and a few odds and end ones. Now keep in mind, other than the Wyandott and the Isa's, the rest have roo's that go with them. I'm sure I have more breeds than that but can't think of them right now LOL. I am getting around 26 eggs a day. A real close friend of mine is taking my Icelandics.

I wish I could take the Spitzhaubens and Orloffs and Campines. :(

Lol Sorry

LOL some of the text were questionable hahaha. I'm reading going....ummm ok. Take care of my kid. Did Dink get the flu ?? ( would serve him right lol)
And you didn't miss much. One person is taking up where Olive left off and it is fine with them people, as long as it's not Olive !!!! Hypocrites is all. They all ignore me too. BobBry is the only one who talks to me there. I just go and read to see what they are up to is all. When whoever it was lost that goat to bloat I posted a couple things to do if it ever happened again, God knows I have raised sheep for better than 30 years and have dealt with every single problem there is, and they never even acknowledged I said anything. So if they have another goat that bloats they don't need to ask me for advice. I will have a loss of memory. Hahahaha

I didn't start stuff! I just gave the wrong answer to someones question...and got TOLD. I learned a few things though.
Glad you are feeling better Kim! I hope Kayla gets over it soon too!

I went to let the chickens out this morning and GUESS WHAT IT WAS DOING!!!! It started as I went out and finished just as I was coming back in

How does it always seem to do that???

Anyway, to gey away from the bad S word... I checked on my cocci suspect. I gave him some of the mixed feed with medicated feed in it... there was no bloody poo in the cage... plenty of poo but no blood!
And the coop went from several bloody poops (that I removed) last night to NONE this morning!
What the hay???? I don't get it.
There are no yulky butts, no squishy abdomens, no hard abdomens, no injuries, no lethargy...

Do I treat them just in case??
Like Robin said... may as well. It won't hurt them. Believe it or not, Every other month or so, I buy a bag of medicated feed and feed them. I don't know if it does any good, but I figure it is a good preventative.
Due to health reasons I have decided that I am going to give up some of my breeds of chickens. I am going to concentrate on my Marans, Silkies, Welsummers, Millie Fluers, & d'Anvers. There will be a couple odds and ends I will keep just because they are pets. So if anyone close by in Mi wants any other breed I have then pm me and we will work something out. This includes my trio of Russian Orloffs ( Nova - Fuzzy). I have several different breeds.
So... Are you going to want my polish still? He's getting... Amourous. AND I will have to snap a picture of him too. His saddles and his hackles have just grown so much! Oh, and I named them Fibber Magee and Molly... Old time radio show. I'll be sure to dust and worm them before they go your way

Now... those spitz... LOL Trade you one set of fuzzy headed birds for another. LOL

Kim, glad your are feeling better. Sorry your girl is sick now... This has not been her month has it.

I think it was Stacy who lost the bottle baby... She was mostly looking for sympathy, not preventative measures from knowledgeable people.

I remember when Farmerboy lost his pig... every one was so sorry that he had that happen, and I was just sorry for the suffering that poor pig went through. I didn't feel so sorry for him though. I think I did very well that time not telling him exactly what I thought of him and his mother at that moment. He is a good kid. But he is a 23 year old man, still being controlled by his mother, and to be told to go to bed and doing it, instead of staying where he belonged, and that was with the pig... Oh I was so angry about that. There were several needless deaths there. I feel bad when people do everything they can, and still lose the animal, I feel bad for both... Stacy did do everything she knew, and still lost... but he just walked away because his mother told him too. I was very impressed with Olive that day too. She told him kindly he should have stayed. I wanted to rip his head off.

Tiny's tongue seems to be clear of all hairs this morning but then she wont let me get a good look every time i get near her she runs like she wants to play and im not in the mood for chase today ......

School messed up student loan stuff so trying to get that straightened out...and if monster gets this job he will be gone for a month for training which means he misses thanksgiving at home .... but on good side it means he akes money for a certain road trip ...should know a bit more later today ....

Will not know about boy pup and his new home til this afternoon ...got up early and she had cancelled til then ... here's to hoping about a lot of stuff !!!

X

X 2 on that one Nova. I'm sorry but I just have no use for someone who thinks it is more important to go on vacation then to attend to their animals, who by the way, knew the pig was young and was due to farrow. Then to come home and pretty much ignore it because mommy told me to go to bed !!!! That right there is one reason I NEVER talk to him anymore. I don't get these stupid people who get on here and just wants sympathy. And that is all he is about !!!! Well, whoever it was with the goat, I hope it doesn't happen again because they don't need to ask my advice. I don't claim to know everything but like Olive I am quite knowledgeable about animals and farming. Been a farmer 40 years and have raised just about everything from domestic to exotic.

As far as the Polish, yes I still want them. I am not getting rid of my Polish. I only have 4 of them as it is. If you are interested in my spitz then just pm me. We can work something out I'm sure.
