All the babies survived the day, they hid in the kennel and everyone pretended there was a door on it again.
Since it was so warm i unplugged the light when i got there. Today is their first night roosting on top of the kennel. I hope this loosens them up a little! The picking is already lessening,
It was also a day of roosterly love here, too.
Idk if sharma submitted or just because she's been following henry's heels and batting eyes but he tried to do his duty by her.... He was careful, but he kinda squished her (mini d'uccle, EE roo).......... She lay there a min and i got worried because she seemed stunned; I picked her up and after a minute she was her usual self. She didn't show fear of henry after, so i think it was a case of "grass is greener" gone wrong, lol. Maybe she'll accept maurice now and quit yearning after the big boys! (the d'uccle roo)
