Sorry C4L! My dogs would also kill my birds... The one alone is ok, but when they get loose together, different story. I keep them in their yard. Always.

I think I might spend just as much time loading the groceries onto the conveyer, then back into the cart, then out of the cart and into the car, then out of the car into the house and put away than I do actually shopping... I want a magic wand that just *poofs* them from the shelf to the proper place in my cupboard/freezer/fridge... Oh... I guess I do... My hands...

2-3 hours of grocery shopping today has me exhausted !!! ANd two hours tonight volunteering at the school is gonna kill me lol so tired but of course i never sleep well when i know i have to be up early and have a long day ahead of me ... hows everyone doing today ?

silver which is the lessor of two evils, bored or tired and busy? Sounds like the kids are keeping you busy today, and out of trouble!

Brag here I am getting ready to go to my DD graduation from a program where she has been learning phlebotomy and how to read cardiograms.

see, what is all this saving? we could be canning it ourselves and then it would be a month of work and then it would be done! Grumble.

Had one of those rare days at work where everyone was happy. (friday?) I have this weekend off too so i'm happy as well.

BYFM, i don't know where you live! I bet i've been close, though. I have a pretty big range (When i have a car to drive instead of a big gallump!)

Nova, do you have any fireworks left? I used to shoot off fireworks in hawk's general direction; at least once a year they test the waters and after getting the poop scared out they steer clear! Worth a shot! (not literally, i know better!)

Well, I let the birds out finally, just before I went to pick up Jace from school. I left the front door open and told my mom to LISTEN for commotion. Good thing today, no bothersome feathered monster!

Today also, Florus did the deed the right way! He got the random hen, I say random, cuz he's trying to get them all, and did the roosterly deed, got off and let her go. No standing on any one today! I was a bit concerned that he'd get to be not so nice, but he's seeming to get it. However, he was so very bummed that the neighbors birds never came out today, and he couldn't try and steal any of their hens. LOL. Cuz he does. He thinks he's a real Lothario. LOL

Evening everyone. I wish I could say my migraine is gone, but not a chance.

It was barely there this morning, but grew throughout the day. And what a day its been. I think we all just get a few days now and then that we would just rather do without. I got called into work this morning and while I was delivering I managed to rip my pants along the inside leg. Thankfully, I had an extra jacket to wrap around my waist, but come on, really? Then I had an over exuberant dog jump up all over me when I stopped to deliver a parcel. Obviously untrained because all my down commands didn't deter it at all. The dog then proceeded to bite my shirt in play and caught me off guard with a jump that left both my arms badly scratched. After that, I blocked every move that dog made with the parcel I was delivering and had some choice words for that dog and will no longer deliver there if the dog is out. Nope. I like dogs, but I don't take kindly to ones that the owner hasn't even bothered to correct a bad manner in.

Anyway, on another note, I am writing out Christmas cards tonight and if anyone would like one, let me know.

Teeville do you have any calcium in the house? DH's uncle used to get leg cramps so bad he had to go to the hospital and be put on a drip; but taking calcium stopped that. It is a relaxer, worth a try! I used to use it for headaches successfully too.

Not a miracle perhaps, but maybe it will help "in between" doses
