AWWW so glad you are helping them, Pictures ? not that i need to fall in love with another dog lolPuppies are safe... Mama is one happy mama!!! Her pups are warm and FED
Man were those dogs hungry... so hungry. Mama drank a full bowl of water too.
I am so glad they are out of there! So so so so glad!!!!
They were on shredded news paper and when he handed me the box of pups, we provided the box, the bottom was full of poo. The pups and mom smelled to high heaven.
He didn't really want to let them go. He wanted to keep one, but we told him she needed to stay with her mom for at least another week (he says they are 5 weeks... I think they are 4) So he let her go.
He gave us 2 canns of food that he was feeding them... it was more than obvious when we got them home that they were strugling to eat it. I told SIL that they need wet, warm puppy chow not that canned crap... we will see if she listens.
As we were leaving he says "Don't you dare bring Lizzy back. I might want that puppy. You got 6 hundred dollars worth in dogs there. I want at least a hundred" ...Lizzy is the mama.
This man makes my blood boil.
I bought Lizzy a bone and that pit smile lit up her face and her tail wagged...She never got any goodies that she didn't have to scarf down because Leo her son/mate would gobble them up.
All of the pups and Lizzy got baths as soon as we got home, they all got fed and pooped and peed all over... happy pups I would say.
She barked at BF when ge got close to the pups, but how could you not be scared of men when you have been beaten and kicked by one.
I didn't take any because I brought my camera and forgot the card in my computer... showing off my egg...AWWW so glad you are helping them, Pictures ? not that i need to fall in love with another dog lol
I'm so sorry about losing your cockerel, Nova.No kidding. Aren't they still nursing at 4 weeks? Backside hole.
Sob hawk was back... Got a cockerel chick this time. Just pulled in the driveway... All the birds were in the garage, saw a puff of white under feathers, and the hawk was trying to get away with him... He wasn't even afraid of me going after him till I was in a few feet of him! THAT IS NOT GOOD! It looks to be the same one as last week. The cockerel was a 3/4fav-1/4 sussex or brahma... He was the one I said had a broken toe. He was finally on the mend, and getting around really good, toe back strait... dagnabit! I am going to seriously tickoff the birds and leave them locked up for several days. Whats the point of having that big run... I know for winter, but this is one dam determined to eat me out of chickens, hawk.
Thanks for thinking of me, Nova. I'm still feeling pretty rough but DH drug me to the doctor, kicking and screaming all the way. I hate going, even though I like our doctor. He gave me antibiotics as had a fever and new asthma meds (Yay). I'm not feeling better right now but the stuff will kick in soon. I've GOT to go to work tomorrow as this is the next to the last week of school and I've got so much grading to do I'll never dig out. And I've got a really pissy student this semester, one that has the whole entitlement thing going on, i.e., I paid my money now spoon feed me and give me my A. She's an older lady who is used to getting her way by threatening people with 'what she will do' if she doesn't get her way. I usually never lose my temper but I've come very close with this lady. Only two more weeks and I'll have her out of my hair. The problem is I think she will get a B in my class and I'm SURE she will do a grade appeal if she does - which I will win but will be a major hassle and take up most of Christmas break. So do I give her an A just to get rid of her (which isn't fair to the rest of my students) or do I give her the B and spend the next month hassling with her taking this to the dean and the college grade appeal committee and college lawyers. My only hope is that she will pull out an A on the final and thereby make it on her own. It's people like this that give college a bad name...Hey Gigi, you feeling better?
Oh, I'm SO glad you have them. People like that should never never never have animals. I hope you don't give any of them back. You are such a good person to save them from him. Wish there was karma that kicked in immediately and treated him the way the pups were treated. geesh... Why can't people just do the right thing?Puppies are safe... Mama is one happy mama!!! When I used to breed and raise pups I put them on Diamonds dry puppy food. Very high in protein and the puppies pooped less than on puppy chow. I used Science Diet for awhile but it is too oily and it made the cocker puppies hair oily. But Diamonds is real good stuff. I gave my puppies NO canned food.Puppies are safe...
