Fuzzy's Farm

So do I give her an A just to get rid of her (which isn't fair to the rest of my students) or do I give her the B and spend the next month hassling with her taking this to the dean and the college grade appeal committee and college lawyers. My only hope is that she will pull out an A on the final and thereby make it on her own. It's people like this that give college a bad name...

Speaking of the Dean, I have a meeting with him Friday. This is kind of like meeting with god - ha, just kidding - but not really.... Anyway, think he meets with everyone when they turn full professor but I'd just soon he send me a nice letter... What am I going to say? Yes sir, thank you sir, I'm very happy, sir...geesh, I'd just as soon stay home with my chickens.
I'd give her an F and then let her do the grade appeal... then tell her attitude was half her grade... Grrrrr!
Good luck with the dean!
When I used to breed and raise pups I put them on Diamonds dry puppy food. Very high in protein and the puppies pooped less than on puppy chow. I used Science Diet for awhile but it is too oily and it made the cocker puppies hair oily. But Diamonds is real good stuff. I gave my puppies NO canned food.
I didn't really mean the brand puppy chow... just little puppy food.LOL Thank you for the brand recomendation!
Canned food makes animals stinky... YULK! I NEVER feed any of my animals canned food.

CUTENESS OVERLOAD!!!

We are going to be picking up a crate for them today so they don't have to be piled in a box.
The kids love them!!!

Mama is so gosh darn skinny. He fed her once a day and would let her bark until it was "time" for her to eat... meaning when he got around to it again.
Her teets are so swollen that she looks like she has 2 utters under her belly... poor girl.

Oh that poor girl.

Thankgoodness you saved her and the pups, BYFM.

She needs a seriously high pro diet... I don't know what to suggest to even getting her weight up. .. Poor girl. I have never had a mother dog, but I am guessing it can't be much different than a nursing woman. You need more calories when nursing than you do when your not. A womans body can break down pretty fast in the bones and muscle if she's not getting enough nutrients to support herself and a child... Glad you got her.

Had an uber good time shooting the breeze with Robin and Rusty today. Even got a free meal and coffee out of it. Yum. LOL. Thanks again for that, Robin.

I got home and as usual, I was looking for my birds... DUH! I didn't let them out today. I have to go and get some groceries, and then I will let them out for a few hours before they go in for the night. Poor birds are probably feeling imprisioned. I have never left the birds locked up. The one time I tried, they just flew over the run.

It is also very quiet... Fibber had the loudest and longest crow of all 5 crowers out there... He was louder than Mr. Fluffers... Love love LOVE rooster crows. I am weird.

Nova enjoyed meeting you even though our conversation had bounced anywhere from birds to no behinds and back again. Seems we all have so much to say in person. Wishing the time hadn't passed so fast. We'll have to do this again even for if just for giggles.

Nova - Thank you so much. I extremely enjoyed myself, but then I always do with Rusty, but the three of us was just great. I agree with Rusty, we will have to do that again. The birds settled in just fine. No fighting or nothing. They are just beautiful. I love them. Thank you, thank you , thank you !!!! That Favorelle rooster is so much prettier than mine. Mine doesn't have the red on his back or nothing. Mine will be leaving in the next couple of days to his new home LOL. A friend of mine wants him. I had such a wonderful day. Lets plan to do this again. We can meet and just go to lunch or something.

I feel left out of all your shenanigans

We are letting mama eat untill she is done. She finishes several cups of food in one sitting and will eat the same amount within the next few hours.
The puppies eat until you could practically roll them like bowling balls LOL

They will be going to the vet to be dewormed... all of them.

Lol sorry but you live so far away. Nova's west coast and you are East coast and I am in the middle.
Question - Why would you take them to the vet to de-worm them ? You can buy Nemix 2 at Tsc which is basically what the vet uses. I always started de-worming my puppies at 2 weeks of age.

Yes! We'll have to do it again before the next chicken stock for sure!

My poor Florus is lost with out his brother. Poor boy...

I am happy you are happy with the birds too! I was worried all the way home that you'd get home, get them out of the boxes and be like... What the! BUT since all three came from Randy's stock, you at least know what you should expect. Pretty pretty pretty! I hope you get quality birds from them come spring.

I let the birds out when I got home after grocery shopping tonight and getting Jace. I had asked Carl if he was staying out for a while, so I'd know if it be safe to let the birds out. He said he wasn't staying out long, so I waited till I got Jace. When I was going to get Jace, Carl was letting his birds out. I got home 15 minutes later, and Carl said in the time that I left and got back, that dang hawk had already tried to get one of his birds! So, between him in the back of our yards, and me in the front of our yards, we babysat the both flocks until dark. Needless to say, I am freezing my tuckus off! I am making Italian wedding soup for dinner. Home made, not the canned crap. Oh, yum! Hope to be warmed up really soon.

BYFM, where are you? I mean in proximity to the rest of us? Fuzzy is 25 miles north of me..
