Mine just don't like the wind!

I opened up the coops this morning. I figured, with this wind, I am not thinking there'll be an avian predator problem today. Ok, that is the hope. Well, wouldn't ya know it, they all came to the door, looked out and turned their beaks up at it. Then I look out the window just now, and one of the pullets it trying to walk to the garage, but the wind keeps pushing her side ways. HAHAHA. LOL. Yes, the garage is open for them... Just like last winter.... What's wrong with me? LOL

I set food in the 4x8 for Florus. He tends to stay in the coop, or in the run part just under it that is still sectioned off from the rest of the run. He won't go in the main part of the run, so, I had to get him food in there and water. If I wanted, I could close the summer coop door, and the only birds to have access to the big run would be those in the 3 other coops... I was going to work on the partition today, but, my feet ache to much to stand to long. That and the wind is just howling. I don't feel like walking back and forth from the garage, where I'd build the intial panel structure.

I got started on some of the present wrapping. Then I got to playing with the Innotab2 that I got for Aiden... Didn't get finished wrapping. LOL. BUT that innotab is pretty cool. I wanted the leappad, but they were sold out. The innotab is just as good though.

Brrrrr! Sounds cold there. Up into the 50s today so will go out and work on the barn and then wrap presents and finish cooking. I'm hoping we get snow for Christmas but it may be kind of iffy. Supposedly the drought is literally sucking the moisture out of the air and pushing the snowy rainy weather back north. Doesn't that figure. It's like some giant gigamonster who's got it's hand on the neck of the weather systems.

I think I've got everyone's presents but will probably find something I'm missing once I'm wrapping. Can't seem to quite get into the spirit this year.

Maybe I'll coerce DH into taking me into town for a sonic coke...need that sugar and caffeine...(-;

My son will be getting an InnoTab2 as well... I haven't played with it yet though (I want to!!!)
Do you have to program their name into it or anything? I know there are the 2 apps you can get online... I think I will let him choose those.
But if you can put his name in I will open it and have it ready in the morning!

I was looking at the LeapPad too... The little boy that I watch has a Leapster Explorer and it is so darned LOUD!! Everytime they switch a game it blares again! And a friend of mine has 2 boys that are really rough on toys... she said the InnoTab was still working great even though they took it outside and threw it down the stairs...

Only 4 days till Christmas! I have one more gift to get, and I cannot seem to get it. I need to get something for my little brother. I'd better not forget to get him something...

I only have one more person to shop for... my aunt.
She is young and hip... but she has A LOT more money than I do. I know she understands that. I just can't decide what a good gift would be for her. I did get a doll that my mom said is the same as the one she had when she was little. I hope she will like that, but I need something more, $20-25, by Sunday...

Yes... I already tried to give her a puppy

Better start looking. Every year I manage to get a gift for all 8 family members. This yer I had a really small budget, but I managed. Now I have one gift left.

I don't know how old your little bro is but my son is 3.5 and he loves monsters and motorcycles... I got him a monster head/eye thing that you squeeze it and the eye pops out... He loved it in the store so I went back and got it to go in his stocking...

Well, I'm the complete opposite. My lil sissy is much easier to shop for then my lil bro. Lol!

Yes! Put the 4 batteries in, or if you bought the power supply, start it up, set the date, time, name... There are a few preloaded aps. Took pics of the dog. Lol, and grandma.'lol. I haven't downloaded yet either. I will let him pick those. I will also buy him some with the app card.

Hi guys, doing ok. Little bean didn't make it last night though I knew it, he knew it. I thought he'd have passed a couple days ago, but he just hung on. I held him a long time last night, comforted him. I was going to have DH put him down but i had a feeling it was close anyway, so i let him die in the place he was raised. I hope it brought him peace. He was warm and comfortable.

Everyone else is fine, i still don't really understand.

I have no time for shopping and I'm only half done with my list so Christmas presents are not my friends right now.....

ooooh, I got a blue egg today. First time. That means one of the younger ee's has decided to start laying. Nothing says 'hey, let's start laying' like a super cold, snowy, windy day, right?
