feeling much much better today-however this flu crap has settled into my chest giving me a nasty wheeze and cough. Feel pretty good that I didnt bring this to Robin.

However-
I was out in the yard scooping dog crap and spring cleaning, even though its just mid-winter...and Chicken Little flogged me in the head while I was bent over.

Ugh, I hate it when our stinker roo, The Rebel Rooster, flogs me in the leg when my back is turned.

Well... Money saving tips that I have placed in action over the past week...
Turn water heater down- water doesn't need to scald your hand right out of the tap
Turn heat way down- NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO TOUCH- If you are cold... put on a robe or your snowsuit

We are hurting for money so bad right now. Mortgage went up and truck broke-twice

It is so much easier to feel like you are in love when there is enough money coming in.

We keep the heat down here too and lights off...but FIL wouldn't listen when I suggested turning water heater down some...apparently water is supposed to burn ya

My hot water is on the lowest setting... Harder to do with them pilots...

The heat is off today. Turned it off last night before I went to bed. It is still 68 in here.

I am tired. My aunt has come to visit. I hate her. I will be happier when her visit stretch farther and farther apart... Stupid witch. On a good note, that means I am not pregnant... Oh wait, I am fixed! LOL. Why should the bwitch visit then? There should be a pill for that that wouldn't kill ya with side effects..

Florus, Rod Stewart and Fritz the Jerk, Roger Jr, and Pat are all good boys. Well, I don't thnk Pat could flog anyone with out landing on his face. The rockers, they are young yet, not even crowing, so they've not got the inclination to flog yet. I am not sure how i'd take being flogged in the back of my head by a serema. I might be pithed off, might then laugh my butt off. Never know.

Anyway. I gotta fill waterers.Thinking I will hook up the hose. May as well get some use out of it before the temps drop again.

Well, got the garage floor scraped clean. Mom made me feel lazy, as she is sick and I am not... LOL. Got the poop scraped all off the boards and the pine and leaves turned. Tomorrow, I will add more pine where needed, shovel out the big coop and maybe if luck is with me, light it up! Not the coop, the mess. LOL

Hoping the police actually do something this time and wishing I would have had money for those cameras now ....would have more evidence ...but even cop said well it would be odd for a Predator to do what was done and not go after the free range Birds either etc ....

Bio Mom never showed up, didn't call. I ended up calling her, she said she was moving to a new place and taking advantage of the weather. I don't blame her actually. her husband is in a home for alzhiemers, he's bad, and she needs to seriously downsize her budget. Where she moved to is much cheaper and closer to la grange indiana. But still. HELLO! CALL!

Afternoon all. Just got back from a wonderful day of work that included a masterful headache, an internal heat inferno and feeling sick to my stomach. Boo-yah.
DS got the coop cleaned while I was gone. He told me the silkie alpha roo has started to crow finally. He's 9 months old and I wasn't sure if was ever going to since he's low on the roo totem pole.
So today's what were you thinking moment went to my oldest DD. DH sent her down to the basement to sweep and mop the floor. She took an entire new bottle of floor cleaner and put it in a bucket with just a bit of water and went to it. WHAT! DH (who gets 2nd place) told me what she did when I got home and she was still in the basement and had been down there for over an hour so far. WHAT! Um, hello! Toxic! Why didn't someone correct her and why is she still using it? I immediately made her quit mopping and come upstairs. You just don't play with that stuff. I told her her mistake and I'm just kind of watching her right now to make sure she doesn't start having any issues from all the fumes she inhaled. See, I made a similar mistake 3 years ago, but in a more enclosed area and I still have respiratory issues from it. Geesh, it's a what the heck were you doing/thinking and a why the heck didn't you stop her? Gah, the things that happen when I'm not around.
