Fuzzy's Farm

Bob- I think the hens like having a rooster around.. My girls act like it anyhow. He keeps an eye on them and does what roosters do. Now that the rooster is gone here, they seem to be well, more "chicken" of things and huddle more. :(

Congrats Ashli on the cute baby. They are best when you can give them back when you are tired or cranky or they are stinky or bratty..yay for nephews and nieces and grandkids!!

Yeah AUNT Ashli! WOOHOO!

Tee, I was thinking maybe a chiro visit?

Bob... Me, I love my roosters... even the ones I end up eating. My girls follow the roosters more. When Mr. Fluffers passed, the girls were LOST until Rod Stewart pulled up his big boy pants and became THE MAN.

Silver! HI! You keep being MIA a lot. I hope you are feeling better, all around recovered.

RUSTY! Why you no talky talky to me no more? WAAHAAAHAAA. Supposed to just have rainy weather next week Wednesday. I do not mind driving in the rain if'n ya'll wanna meet up for a swap and coffee... See if fuzzy can come. Find a resturaunt that has pie. Or cake.

Tee, I was thinking maybe a chiro visit?
I've never been to one, but my in-laws swear by them. I think I would entertain the idea if I knew for sure the chiro was a good one and not just someone that would make other things go wonky over time. Lord knows it would probably help me to some degree somewhere because my whole body is out of whack for overcompensating for the last 8 years for my bum leg. It's kind of funny, though, I would never have thought about one for this, just the rest of me.

Bob, there are times I think my girls don't quite like the boys, but they do huddle around their prospective roo for protection and follow them around all the time. Each of my boys has their own girls and each of them have done a great job of protecting the ladies. I've even lost one defending one of his girls from a raccoon. I can't say anything for egg taste, but I like having my roos around.

Ok... so... I have no idea how long we've been with out a house phone. BUT apparently since sometime last week... The phone has never rang, but apparently it has as there were 15 voice mails... Even one from Robin, sorry, didn't get it... Battery on that stupid thing was dead. Not taking a charge nothing. I just assumed no one was calling, and anyone who REALLY needs to get ahold of us, knows my cell number. ANYWAY... I had to go and buy a new battery for the phone. That battery cost more than a new phone! SO, I got a new phone. LOL.

Hey, Nova, can you buy apps for your son's innotab? I found a free app for the nook that is for puzzles (all of fruit, lol) and it has dozens of them that can be done on easy, medium or hard. My puzzler DD loves it. Just thinking it might be something your puzzler DS might like if you can get something like that.

The InnoTabs have a specific website to buy the kids games from VTech... I don't think you can add other non-VTech games on to it. I am having a hard time getting music on to it and can't for the life of me figure out why I can download them on there and not beable to listen to them... Which is a big bummer cause DS loves music!

While at the feed store yesterday, I asked if the mgr. knew of anyone wanting a rooster, he did, but when we called the guy, turns out he had just gotten one. He did say he recommended we keep him though. Said a roo makes the hens happier and eggs better. Is that iyo true. OR bs????

Just posted this on Mi all welcome and thought i would try to copy it here and get opinions from this thread? Much to my surprise the copy worked.

Bob - I agree with Kim and Nova. Having a rooster around makes the hens happier. And I love hearing mine crow.

Hey Robin. Are you better? Hope so.

I haven't tried music yet. Will mess around with that today.

About puzzles, he has 5 puzzle apps on the touchpad. They go from easy at 48, to hard at 100+ and with the pieces rotated. He's doing good with them at 48 and in the easiest mode.
