I would walk around in very expensive stores and ask people if they would like to buy my baby... Then let them hold it and check it out and send them home with a business card...

everyone LOOK at this baby doll. Many close up pictures. I love her. This lady has perfected a newborns skin tone- especially the feet and belly!!! Would never pay that price, though.

My daughter Tiffany had two very very realistic collector babies. She cared for them, and I spent over a hundred on each. They were Christmas and Birthday gifts. Yeah...my dog chewed them up. I had one wrapped up in bandages because it had bite-wounds to the face and fingers chewed off...very traumatizing,

BF just ordered some for me.... Thank you though! They are Genesis Heat Set Paints... I really like how those ones look after being set.

Just poppin in, is there still a possible road trip "on"? I gotta go spend some time with my babies. I got to take some old blue berries home, can't wait to see their happy eyes! I haven't really seen them except on the roost at nightfall since my long week and my move

(I am staying with my mom, which is an hour drive from work; i see the birds on the way home but since i am still stopping by the apartment to say "hi" and take care of kitty, not much of a day left. )

I can't WAIT until i actually have a place of my own! I am still up in the air about whether i can keep my birds, if i apply to a low income apartment near them i could, but the kicker is that i couldn't have a roomie to help pay, since it would only drive the rent up. Still eying the fixer upper trailers as an option, and mulling over the house chicken thing............ I'm going to have to side a bit with Gigi on the reborns, but just so you know, I've never been a doll person so you can probably say my opinion is highly biased about them. But beyond that, Byfm, you are a very crafty person and if you decide to do them I'm sure you'll do well.

Hey My Chickens are GONE!!

I have looked out the back window three times to check on them...oops.

I started out the back door last night to do a head count...

and this morning when I put on the coffee, I started to go out to open up their coop.

The inspector came while we were at Robins'.He never showed up and we waited until 1 o clock before we left. We padlocked the gate.

My son said he knocked on the door. He told them everything was gone. The inspector looked over my gate and told my son that we were good. Gave him a thumbs up.

Ummm= you couldnt see my chicken yard from my gate anyhow!

I dont trust him. I expect him to come again. He definitely has to come to see next door again. Many violations over there.

And while we were at Robins- my quail hatched.
Gonna make me a hoop house with cattle panels and plant pole beans around it for disguise- and put them in there when they are grown.

I ordered a 85% privacy screen- should be here tomorrow. My husband and I are going to put it up against the shadow-box privacy fence so nobody can see in through the slats in the chicken yard. I have to find a way to block my other neighbor from seeing over here. fence is chain-link. I want to plant many more bushes in my chicken yard and get bird netting up (hawks/falcons). THEN maybe I can bring my girls home.

I know they are in the best care and I am very thankful... I am just very sad to now be chickenless. I felt like a real jerk taking them from their house to the cage then driving them and then leaving them. You all should have seen Bird chasing the turkeys though. Tiniest little OEGB taking on a turkey!!!

Annnddddd......She's still chasing them LOL. Funniest thing I ever saw. Big ole turkey and a little OEGB.Turkey runs like heck !!!!
