Gotta get teh monsters ready for bed. LOL. they are actually behaving pretty good. Niece came over today while I was at work and wore them out with snow ball fights, and all around rough housing. I was surprised to see my house NOT trashed like it normally is on a Sunday when I get home...

I actually had a few of the birds come out of the coop and garage today. I also was very bad and took a bag of lunch meat, turkey, out to them. OMG! It was the funniest. Them little meat eaters were hilarious to see running with slices of turkey, not wanting to share! Great funny show for me.

Okay... It is really sad... I HAVE to try one of these reborn dolls! I know I could do it!
I have watched all the youtube videos and really all I need to start is the heat paints and a doll... I can get a few cheap dolls at Salvation Army and strip them of their factory paint...and practice practice practice!

A shop in town has ordered 10 of my fairy babies!!

oohhoooh can i have one of the practice ones ive wanted one forever but cant afford them .... it can be a birthday gift in august ... how about a redheaded girl lol and when we get a little extra i want more faires !!!

and all my birds are heading out with me next week except 4 or 5 ..tiny and daffy ... daffy's nameless girl .. my possible sq silkie and the one white silkie girl left ... everyone else is heading out ... just got to get crates and carriers cleaned out n ready and get everything packed ... not wanting to go but not wanting to stay either ... just been a stressful few weeks ...... so i will be all but birdless again myself .... but at least no one will be harming them ......

Hmm realistic Gideon but i think she overdid all the cuts and red marks. He sort of looks like he has been in an accident.

He is meant to look fresh squeezed... But yes he looks rough.

I'm going to have to side a bit with Gigi on the reborns, but just so you know, I've never been a doll person so you can probably say my opinion is highly biased about them. But beyond that, Byfm, you are a very crafty person and if you decide to do them I'm sure you'll do well.

I like the ones that look real... The ones that are done badly or underdone... they are scary to me.

LOL... I will try, Silver. I got them to practice different techniques on and I am REALLY not sure how they will turn out. I also am trying to find someone with mohair in MI that sells it... Maybe I can paint the hair on... I dunno...

Yes, as long as the roads are good.

Only got 7 eggs today... HUH! that was 1/2 the amount from 2 days ago...

She IS a feeder hoarder !!!! Turkey's goes near it and she runs over there and chases them away. I only got about 1/2 of the eggs I usually get yesterday.

Doing great! Just watching this stuff melt! Better than watching the icicles form last night. I see a coop cleaning in the forecast!

You gals know I am flexible so any day will work for me.

I've got an itch! I have a friend that said she would hatch some eggs for me, we know who you are! Has anyone had any luck with hatching eggs off eBay or should I stay away.
Also, maybe looking for a SLW roo.
