Another possibility is mites/ lice, for some reason they give poopy butt feathers too. Easy peasy though, just get some ivermectin and it should take care of bugs and worms all in one shebang! There is cheapy paste for horses, about $3 a tube; there is pour on, and anther kind; once you get it either post what specific kind you ended up with or go to my siggy link for dosing.I have a question for you guys. A few of my girls have had poopy butts the last couple of weeks. I've trimmed them and slathered new stock on (for vent gleet) but I'm still seeing some. Do you think they could have worms? I don't see anything in their droppings but then again, not sure what I'm looking for. I have the stuff to run fecals on the goats - do you know if this works for chickens? And what would I be treating them with if it is worms?
Not into beastiality. It's against the law anyway LOLDangit, lost my quotes!
Ok... First off... Robin can't mate with Huey... Go look... That's what it says... "hey robin did you see my post about mating with huey?". Lol
Worms... Do the fecal first. Do a round with invermectin or safeguard. I personally do the zimecterin gold. It has ivermectrin in it. Small pea sized for each in the mouth.
you can do the ivomec pour on too. 3-4 drops, back of neck. They say to do a follow up 10 days later with a different wormer..
You use ACV in you water right? Add pro-bios to there water...Greek yogurt... Goats milk... Buy a bag of chick starter and feed them that while you are worming...
There are many different colors of partridge. Like my silkies, I have one that is brown partridge, a roo that is basically red partridge, a couple blacks that are also partridge. So the blue and what not are just a different partridge, but partridge none the less.okay, partridge...
but look at the pictures here:

scroll the pictures until you see the chicks in his hand. THEN compare to my chick in hand.
they are different.
Granted, I KNOW mine is a mutt- because Chicken Little is a Serama and Mama is a Showgirl. ,,,, but still, I hate waiting to know what a finished product will look like.
Id like to DNA sex this one, too.
