We have school. I got up early to heat water and chip the ice off my car just so I could start it. My road has been plowed, but still looks like I could skate on it.

Morning Robin, this morning reveals a beautiful picture out there, but also broken limbs from my trees. Will need a chain saw to move them. At least we have got power. Be careful doing your chores.

You all be careful in this snow. My dad has 30 inches on the ground. We, on the other hand, have NOTHING! I'm so upset. Did get some rain but geesh, wanted snow.

Tee, I hope DH's hand is okay. Cuts are no fun at all.

Well, my DH and I dodged a stupid bullet this morning. Somehow, we forgot to close up the coop and the girls where either outside or in an open coop all night. The inside door to the coop was pulled open a couple of inches like something was trying to get into the pen that way, Knocked their water over but evidently didn't make it all the way inside. Nobody was killed or hurt which is absolutely unbelievable given all the predators out here. So now we are going to have to really watch who and when we shut up the coop. I can't believe the girls rode it out safely. They all got lots of extra treats this morning to say the least.

I'm sorry about your job, Fuzzy. Maybe it's the perfect opportunity to move somewhere that you would like better than where you are now.

Thanks. Gotta say something funny about it, though. The way it's all wrapped up and bandaged makes it look like he is giving someone the bird. LOL When he got home this morning, I overheard my still groggy youngest DD asking him if he was flipping her off. He laughed and said his boss asked him the same thing this morning. LOL

I see pictures of these a lot and I feel like I'm gonna barf everytime. Their feet are soo gross looking!
