Wondering how Mom2's been lately?
Gigi glad you girls are O.K. I am sure that some of us would be glad to send you some of our snow. At least you didn't get stuck in that when you visited your dad.
We had about 3 hours or so of rain before sleet, changing to the snow. With the ground froze water not soaking in. Big lake in front of my coop (never had one before this year) seeping under the kick board. Don't know whether throw my girls life jackets or build them a raft!
Still managed to snow blow out a spot for them and they seemed happy to be out.

Long night. 6 1/2 hours in the er, but DD is okay.

hi girls. just popping in for a minute, day off. I am still job-hunting, uugh. I think i would be happier with a lesser pay if I at least get my breaks and it's a little more laid back, or at least if it's fast paced not so much THINKING ! LOL. I don't mind having to plan my day, but not at 6 in the morning!

Nova, how's that bakery job going? What's it like? Sounds neat.

Also, on indeed.com i saw a mailroom position for a holland company, when i searched the "stock" position for cedar springs? I couldn't apply because i don't know how to open more than one tab on mom's computer; need a resume. first shift, fridays only but pays $14 an hour!!!!

Mom, Robin, where have you been? Doing OK?

On my way out of town i plan on stopping by cedar's TSC to see what they have. Can't buy, but have to see........

Doing OK Fuzzy. Just busy is all. I have 39 lambs right now with 6 more ewes to lamb. 6 on the bottle (ugh, did I ever mention I hate bottle lambs ? LOL) Already got rid of 3 bottle lambs but now have 6 more and I'm sure more to come. February is always my busiest month of the year.

Kim is doing ok also. We are texting right now

Good day everyone, hope everyone is thawing out? Supposed to be in the 60's here today! And no rain! Yea! Hope all of you with injuries and family with injuries are doing better? Nova how's the jeep doing? Have you figured out what the problem is? Hope you've gotten it fixed. And all the baby lambs! Is that what you call them. I'm sure it's not! Lol... Anyway I think they are cute. Have great day everyone

Job... hmmm... there is a joke. My sister tells me they want me for the south side store. I told her they haven't even called me. Nothing. She said, oh, there have been a few personal problems and the boss hasn't been in. Ok... Hmmm. Well, I don't like to be jerked. SO, going to keep looking.

Jeep... as long as it don't drive through puddles or anything like that, it starts up everytime. Its not the rotor cap. Its the solenoid. YAY! I have to replace the whole starter with mine. Bites. SO, as long as it dry out, lol.

AND now chicks... and Broodies.



They are in the broody coop, so getting a nice bright pick, well, that makes it hard. As you can see, flashlight. LOL. AND one egg is not hatched. I candled it, since there is no pip on it. Can't hear nothing... The air cell is HUGE. I turned it, never saw any movement either, and I sat patiently watching and slowly turning... Nothing. I will give it another day, or wait till mama says it's done, and will candle again at that point, then egg topsy. If it looks like I managed to screw up and missed an egg that was laid in there by another hen that looked like the favies... AND when I candled last, all were growing...well you see where I am going. Either I didn't catch it and it's days behind, or it's dead.

AND the broody sisters. LOL. Each girl has 2 eggs under her. They were all four originally under the serema Ekta. Skeeter decided she's to be a mama again and stole two from Ekta. They are both happy as 2 peas in pod together. LOL. BUT Skeeter has sat with Coco Chanel before brooding.... Anyway here are the two pretties.
