Fuzzy's Farm

Lord love a duck, I am freaking tired.

I hope that John will be keeping this job he starts longer. I won't quit working Michaels until I feel relatively secure that its a permanant thing. Which means I will probably be at Michaels for quite some times. LOL. Good thing is that I do like it there. The people I work with are really nice... All except one, she's a bit snooty, or she just doesn't like to be all friendly. She's not rude or mean... just she doesn't like talking to people as much. I am learning what I am doing at least.

As for the fun chicken stuff... I have nothing.

Lost Ray, Lost Fritz, and lost a little pullet that I hadn't named yet. She was a broody raised, hit about 6 weeks, Criptoe ditched her, she was on her own for the last 3 weeks, but she was settled in with everyone fine, but she had quit growing. Like another pullet from last summer... Still don't know what that is about. She was absolutely adorable. Her two older sibs from a different hatch, they've grown very well. They are only a few weeks older than what she was.

Going to get some new pics of the birds soon... Maybe. LOL Just working so much this last week. I have Saturday off from one of my Michaels, and hopefully Sunday too. Will see. Would be nice to have a day off.. Yup.

Lord is loving a duck here, too. Sorry, Nova. I really feel for you on the tired thing. I'm just exhausted myself. Work isn't letting up any time soon for me and our work loads have been heavy. Yesterday was ridiculous. So much mail and the catalogs! How do so many people get so many different ones? Makes it all heavy, heavy, heavy. I ached so bad last night after a 10 hour day that I had to take an advil pm. Sleep wasn't possible otherwise.
Well, hope it all works out for you and you can give up one before too long.
I have no chicken news here. DS lets them out after I go to work and puts them back in when it gets dark which on some days is before I get home from work. So, from what little I'm seeing them, they all seem fine and are digging through all the leaves in the yard. One of my leghorns is now purple, though. Noticed it Sunday. We figure she found a cache of wild grapes that were still left. They love the wild grapes around our yard. I tossed a bunch to them about a week ago much to their delight. Here are some of them awaiting the grapes.

Lord love a duck, or two. Another bad pap. I'd hope this was all over but guess not. Ohward for another colposcopy. Just take it all out is my thought.

Chickens here are great but goats are a mess. Georgie is in heat and Yosi has lost his head over her. He's fixed but that doesn't slow him down. All the other goats run from him. I'll be glad when Georgie gets back to normal. Goat love is too intense - ha.

Rain Rain Rain here. Need sun! Hope you guys weather is better.

Been worked near to death here too. I am sad tonight i gave the final word on henry. I love that bird to pieces but i can't keep a bird that won't
accept new hens. I get it but it is not a personality i want passed on. I had a potential home for him and the hens i need re homed, but she backed out. So i have to put up an add. Him i spared from strangers, because i know what would come. This last bunch of birds is so different from my old flock; i need to get back to where i started and stick to a simple trio.

There is a natural occuring chemical in the seeds of pumpkins and other gourds of the pumpkin family that works on a few types of worms, not all worms though. So yes. LOL

Hope they just take it all out.

Friend of mine just had a surgery removing half her cervix and then a bit. They wanted to make sure that they got all the cancerous cells. It wasn't cancer YET they told her. Just cervical dysplasia. Hope they just do the same for you. You'll be in my prayer, Gigi.
