Morning all
At least we have power today. Went out for about 8 hours yesterday. Then fits with my computer. dog fence still not working after we tore up several hundred feet where we thought the shorrt was. After tearing the dishwasher apart an putting it back together at 11 last night still not working. Now DH is going to take it out and check out the pump. All that and still managed to cook dinner last night. And wouldn't you know after I had started plan B the power came back on.

I just know today has to go better

. This being FRIDAY only one more day of this week left. Hopefully it goes better for everyone else too!

News from the homefront,
i decided to get the antibiotics for my little porcelain booted bantam. The others were doing ok, and i think they would have been ok without it, but i wasn't sure about her. She never was strong. So everyone is getting tylan in the water, just in case. She seemed a bit perkier already
Supposed to be a bad winter anyway. Don't want to take chances!

I think she was looking to see how my d'uccles were doing, i did post the update on the MI thread today, so if that was it she would stop worrying!

Well, the Doc gave my mom the "best" news... Said she'll live forever... Lord love a duck! I think I better start saving for a home for her... Forever is a long time....

Morning everyone! Not really morning anymore I guess, but whatever.

I found a secret nest yesterday. That crazy Lakenvelder was WAY out by the treeline (that our neighbors own) throwing a fit. So I went out to see what was going on before something snatched her, and whatayaknow, there she's got a nest of at least two months worth of eggs. . I think I'll just call the 18 year old kid that lives on that property and ask if he wants about 5 dozen eggs, then tell him he has to go find them. Muhahahahhaa that's what he gets for scaring the bejeezus out of our poor dog.

Oh and a lady I know wants 6 POL pullets. e. And she's fine with mutts, now I just have to catch them.

OK guys, gotta go and take care of things. Sorry i have been MIA off and on, i have been burning the candle at both ends doing all the driving around and testing and whatnot this job wants me to do, and then going out and taking care of all the birds............. Whew. fell into bed last night, today i did a lot of work on the new thread i'm working on.
