Oh cool on the SF roo's. That will be good. I hope hubby gets a job so Sam I Am can go home LOL. Jessie is coming home real soon now so there will be only 4 months before she comes in heat again. That's the window we have. My friend is doing just a little more training on her then she is coming home. I would say in a week or two.Is sad about the turkey but i do have some good news .. i may be able to being you an SF roo or two to trade after all !!!!!
NOVA I love that brooder idea .. may have to make one like that for the garage or basement for the late hatchlings i have going !!! especially since I am down two brooders that we decided to burn the one and the other just well the door does not work right anymore and with cats lurking we cant takea chance especially since my new SFs are coming and some beautiful silkie additions as well ... one may even be SQ !!! I have never owned an SQ chicken t hat I am aware of !!!
Now to just get DH to work (3 different companies are supposed to be contacting him in the next 2-3 days lets pray one pans out !!! )and then I can get my trip up planned to a definite date ...now that I know what it is going to cost beyond motel fee .... no way am I flying up alone and then attempting a umm like 11-12 hour drive back home alone .....especially with SAM I Am and chickies and etc lol
I am so ready to take him off your hands believe me .. i have threatened to walk to MI to get him if I have too !!! lolOh cool on the SF roo's. That will be good. Awwww how cute.Criptoe and her half silkie babies. One is starting to get lacing in the wings. How weird!
He's growing his crest back in real nice since Fritz no longer lives in the same coop. The girl, she's hiding, her's is full and nice.
The only offspring I have left from Mr. Fluffers and one of the GLW girls. How's that for lacing huh? She's almost POL.
Beulah, faverolle hen... too much black in her feathers.
And last but not least, Skeeters babies. No poopy butt problem with the one anymore either. She hasn't taken them out of the run yet, today was the first time they were out of the summer coop area. They are going up and down on their own now too. 9 days old.
They have always gotten along.....the problem is Sam is a boy and Jessie is a girl !!!!!! No puppies here. Nope, don't want any. That's why I said we have a 4 month window. That's when she will be in heat again. So, do they get along now? The pit and the BC? It is a BC right?
Yes, the brooder cost me like 20 bucks. Less actually.
