My daughter has been seizing really bad, and had an allergic reaction to the med they gave me to give her by injection and couldnt breathe. It was horrible scary, and then she seized again on Sunday and again this evening.. it is wearing me out.

My daughter never seized, but she did have an allergic reaction to a med the doctor gave her so I can relate on how horrible and scary that is. I'm sorry you are going through so much at once. Keep strong.

Kayla just had a seizure- took about a half hour to get her off the kitchen floor. Her head was hurting so bad, but she finally fell asleep. Just now got off the phone with a bill collector frm hospital charges in 2009. I told them I am broke. I have payment arrangements with another collecton company for other hospital bills from other years. Told him to call me back in 28 months when this arrangment is done. He was not pleased, Said he would be calling me in seven days. I put him in my phone address book so I will know not to answer. Each trip to the hospital for Kaylas seizures costs about four grand. The hospital bill alone *(after insurance pays them their 80%) is 1344.ish No way Im ever gonna catch up, not even going to try. Each doctor and each department has their own bills that they send for the 20 percent that insurance doesnt cover.

Bird is supposed to be spoiled, she is just a little bird..lol.

They gave me Lorazapam to give by injection during a seizure. Did it. She turned bright red, then started making strangling sounds and her face turned blue. Her lips and tongue swelled. I told her I was NOT going to let her die, and managed to get her airway open (tipped her head, lifted her chin) and she started gasping. Never took her out of seizure mode completely either.

It sure is scary. Im glad your daughter is okay, too. It sucks but you just keep on keeping on...cuz thats what Moms do.

I didnt have a chance to call the other place yet. Today I worked, had to leave four hours early so tiff could make her appointment, then had to find something for dinner. I will tomorrow.

Seizures and allergic reastions are scary .. I feel for you having to deal with them together ..... i hope things get better and i totally understand about dr bills and payment arrangements
