Just FYI- being away from the flock is stressful, even if they picked on him. Im not saying you should put him in with the others because they picked on him, just be aware that in itself is stressful for flock critters.

The docs WILL figure her out- because I am tougher than any sicker, and it is much easier to deal with the sickness than with ME. lol

Oh wow... I'm sorry your daughter is going through this. I don't know anything about your family (as I am new to this thread) but if you don't mind I'd like to pray for her anyway if that is okay with you.

I also keep seeing things about a cane toad, but I guess I can't reply to that in one post since I can't read all the pages at once...going to see about a toad on the other pages. =)

Well, yes, yes you are! You could build her a shelter? I had a cat who lived in the garage, just put a litter box, cat food up on a stand so not to draw rodents...

I thought about that but didn't think about the litter box. Shows how much I know about cats - lol!

Today is supposed to be a balmy 64 degrees! WOOT WOOT! The leaves can dry up, I can get some washing done and I am sure there will be something else I need to get done... Hmmm...

BYFM, sorry to hear about your GGma... yes, I just abrev'd that. I am sitting here typing with no glasses, and I didn't feel like looking at my fingers to many times. LOL. No really, sorry for your loss.

Gigi, I didn't keep a litter box in the garage. I left it cracked for her to go in and out under the door. She actually slept in there, and there were chickens in the garage most of last winter. Oh, wait, when are there NOT chickens in the garage.

Well, I will be having a few birds leave before winter. Not many but a few. I have re-homed my Icelandics. To a very good friend and BYC'er from Mi. I am sooo happy he is taking them. More time to concentrate on my Marans that way.
