Blah, I just moved the goat pen. I've been good and doing it everyday, but today it was actually warm outside (okay, only 78* but whatever..............) and now I feel all sweaty and gross. I want to take a shower but I have more work to do today..... Gah, dragging those 6 cattle panels, it's tearing me up. Now my arms are all cut and bruised.... I put chicken wire all around the bottom to about 2 feet up, so that they stop getting stuck and forgetting how to get out. Hopefully it holds up until the winter pen is done...................

Took me about 10 to ruin it forgot i did my nails and then washed dishes lol but did look neat ill do it again later lol

poor cut up and bruised no can take a shower right now piper

Stupid hawk terrorizing my birds. It comes here every year around this time and stays for a month, then leaves. He's huge too. Never taken a chicken, just scares them. I hate that stupid bird. I threw a rock at it (missed :p so it doesn't technically count as harassment) then *almost* started screaming at it. I have my whole speech ready too, but it's not really appropriate.......Let's just say it does include having heads on pikes and lots of dirty words.

I thought it got the NN chicks because I couldn't find any of them at first. They were all playing possum. As soon as mama called they popped up from all over and ran to her.

we were gone from home last night and tiny had to sleep in her own bed and stay in her box for half the day
so when i let her out she went nuts !!!! she is still running around flapping and chicken cussing me loudly

Good for him!
I've learned never to accept the daily forecast because it's never the same the next day. Today was way better than it said last night so I was happy. I even got warm enough to take off my jacket.

LOL. I keep calling my daughter 'little hot dog' and she is not amused. Ha Ha!
It's kind of funny really because last year she dressed up as Lady Gaga for Hollywood day during homecoming week and nobody knew it was her, but as soon as she came out after the show was done people were like 'look, it's the hot dog!' LOL
 
Well, it is that day of the week again. The kids dad decided to go to the casino. Hello! It is Saturday, he is supposed to be here to take care of the kids, get them to bed... etc...etc...

We got the last of the tomatoes off the bushes today. I dont think they're going to ripen out there or get any bigger. We left a bunch of the tiny ones. Looked over what was left of the peppers, found them pointless to ever pick off. About as big as the end of my pinky finger. I was surprised that the tomatoes even put out so many more after I cleared them off last month. Sweet! I think I probably have a peck or so. But, will ripen in the windows, do some fried green and onions. Maybe even make some green tomato salsa.

Anyway, gotta go on off to work now. Have a nice night all. Supposed to be warmer and sunny tomorrow too!
