Well, it is that day of the week again. The kids dad decided to go to the casino. Hello! It is Saturday, he is supposed to be here to take care of the kids, get them to bed... etc...etc...

We got the last of the tomatoes off the bushes today. I dont think they're going to ripen out there or get any bigger. We left a bunch of the tiny ones. Looked over what was left of the peppers, found them pointless to ever pick off. About as big as the end of my pinky finger. I was surprised that the tomatoes even put out so many more after I cleared them off last month. Sweet! I think I probably have a peck or so. But, will ripen in the windows, do some fried green and onions. Maybe even make some green tomato salsa.

Anyway, gotta go on off to work now. Have a nice night all. Supposed to be warmer and sunny tomorrow too!

I'm watching "The Men Who Built America" on the History channel. It's very interesting..........Makes Rockefeller seem like slightly less of a jerk...............I mean, his whole deal was that his kerosene wouldn't go *KLABLOOIE!!*, and he did start out poor, you have to respect that. But then he hit it big and became a jerk so.................yeah.......once it becomes a monopoly it seems to always get out of control.....

I'm gonna go heat up some stew........I don't believe I've eaten today..........huh, weird, I was starving all day yesterday even though I was eating all day.........

IM so ready for him to be back at work and this otr job actually lets him be home weekends and has decent pay now lets just hope he gets it AND they have decent insurance that covers pre existing conditions

DS is feeling better. I read that it is easier for kids to get croup after having a cold... which is what happened.
He had much less coughing today and if he started up we went outside or opened the windows in his room.

All my nail polish has successfully been peeled off.

BF bought me flowers for sweetest day Awwww...
Now there is an apple pie in the oven and some icecream in the fridge... Yall come on over and have some!...Or I can eat your helping myself for you

PS Don't tell BF I told you...but... he said he wants to breed Nugget and Noodle!!! Which was the plan in the first place (I have to make him think it was his idea though

)

BF picked up some selenium for Nugget today. He got some (very little) this afternoon and by this evening he was eating pretty well... considering I had to force feed him for 2 days.
I untwisted his neck and got it into "star-gazing" position and with a little help he began pecking at the food mush that I made him... Nugget is a sucker for peas! He was trying so hard to pick each of the smushed peas out

What a brave little guy!
