Well, last night was a load of wet and cold for trick or treating. My daughter was glad she chose to dress up as Katniss from the Hunger Games cause she was well covered and not cold at all. She made out alright with the candy, but was dragging booty this morning because we had to walk all over to get it.

Glad everyone else had a good night. Silver, love that you took Tiny with you. That would have been awesome to do only I don't think any of my bantams would have stayed in the basket.

Looks like everyone had a touch of something the past couple of days. I had a bit of an upset tummy myself Tuesday. Hope everyone is feeling better.

Popping out now. Going to try to get DH off his bum and have him take me to go get something to eat. Haven't eaten all day and I'm starving and since he ate all the good left-overs I think he owes me something. Right?

I think her mom was a Millie Booted Bantam, but I dunno how she looks like she does besides that.........

Anyways, that was my randomness for the day. I really like her, she's a pretty girl. And so are her brothers. I only have pictures of one....


The other one is like the opposite. He has Columbian plumage, but the same body shape and nice comb and wattles........That group was a pretty bunch. There's a plain black, feather footed girl also.

BF and I have been discussing me going back to work. I would LOVE to, but I don't trust anyone to watch my kid everyday.
I can't get a night job because BF goes on-call every other to every 2 weeks...I never know when he will be on-call!!!
I could get another job on the weekend, but then when would I get my day off? Never. BF would LOVE that!

i did candle at day 10 and day 18 but could only see thru one or two the rest were too thick/dark to see thru .... im getting 8 chicks later in november from a class project like that here .... and reset the incy ..hoping for better results this time and should be able to candle the silkie eggs better .... can one even candle little quail eggs ?!?

I candle my blue eggs with a mag light, that is bright enough! Nothing fancy here, just a hole poked in a piece of cardboard and taped to the flashlight.

Well, I don't think you stepped in it. I mean the guy said he was sure the cockerel ate moldy food/spoilage from under the dog house and he knew there was crap under there... So yeah, botulism... You gave very good links.
