today somehow tiny managed to get ahold of one of the halloween wigs while we were gone taking the kids to the dentist and has "hair" wrapped around her tongue she wont let me touch it and spits out pieces occasionally but im watching her real close ...lord that chicken gets in to the oddest stuff !!!!

BYFM, I don't think you stepped into anything big time at the other place. You weren't purposefully misleading, you were trying to give helpful info based on what you knew. The corrective response surprised me a bit, though, because some tend to get in trouble for being that forthright.

Had a funny chicken moment today. My neighbor came running to my house because he needed to use my phone because his wasn't working. Three of our hens followed him right up to the door and stood next to him with their heads cocked up at him the whole time he was there. He really seemed like he didn't know what to make of them and looked nervous, too. Not to mention his foot was right next to a big pile of doo that our boy, Neil, left for us earlier. It was hilarious especially when one of the girls started making moves for his cigarette he had. LOL

I thought about crotcheting incubator covers (that look like chickens) Wouldn't that be cute? They would be for the dome incubators! IDK if that would be a good idea... fire hazard even...

I thought about crotcheting incubator covers (that look like chickens) Wouldn't that be cute? They would be for the dome incubators! IDK if that would be a good idea... fire hazard even...

No, we've been gone today. I saw him this morning though. He was acting normal. He tripped and acted like he couldn't get his balance for a minute, but then he did and walked off like he was fine. Sort of like in the video, like he catches himself then he can be normal........it just takes awhile. :/

Guess we should have just said food poisoning. It was kind of rude the comment about just passing on I'll informed info, but I ignored it. The cure at least was a workable one even if botulism isn't from the moldy food. Heck, it isn't even from the bacteria itself, but from the reactions.. Well anyway, I wasn't going to get into a pissing contest with her over it. I do not mind being corrected, but do it with class ya know? I don't normally accept rudeness with intent to make another look stupid well. But... I don't want to get into trouble correcting either, that would be considered flaming/ trolling, and Halloween is over so I already put my bee-otch mask away.

What a brisk day today was... Hope for sunnier skies tomorrow...

Mom,I got a new pic of our pink skinned chicken grand kid. All I can say is So pretty.will post tomorrow. Well, will post all 4 of the silkies. The youngest is a very rich black. So pretty!

No I didn't set up a shop... I like looking at all the stuff I could be making though.

I don't know much about incubators either... but people have talked about covering them up to keep the temps steady.

Tiny is still spitting out hairs but im afrid to try and cut it off as she moves so much and does not like her mouth messed with ... she is still eating and drinking so im just hoping it will keep coming loose on its own ....

Im gonna have to go look at etsy lol so many people talking about iut ... course me myself im addicted to listia now lol
