Went out to lock up the chickies and check on Nuggeter...and there is a coon in the tree!!! Gonna have BF set the trap tonight... locked everyone up really good tonight!

I have seen a bald eagle flying...They are beautiful!!! I swear that I have seen a younger one on the side of the road eating a dead thing too. It was huge! I guess it could have been one of those vulture/ hawk looking things.

Boys are disgusting...men are too...

Glad the stones are getting smaller!!

Nah, we just have a live trap... then BF takes care of them. I don't want another one having litters in that hole. Unfortunately, there is no way to block it off either.

Better. He's in the house tonight, but his crop is definitely impacted. I'm going to try to free it up tomorrow morning.

I'm pretty sure I used up all my good chicken karma. Tonight one of Lily's six week olds had been attacked by something and got caught in the door, by her toe. Her head's all torn up and one toe is really swollen and bloody. I think she'll be okay. Her mama was funny, she was all worried and fussing over her. No pecking at all (I still separated them) she just tucked her under he wing. I can't believe she still hangs as close to them as she does.........
