JUst how my luck goes when i finally agree to go out to vote they wont let me ....

2nd ducky finally came out of the egg completely ... third one is still rocking some and 4th actually looked like it had moved from where i put it .... but could just mean the others movement could have caused that ....the first duck out - named supplies - is doing good and the 2nd one -- named closet -- looks ok .. he did have a little swollen belly and looks like one leg may be a little off but did make it out of the egg on his own after the little help i gave him !!!!

But YAY for you! That's all you can do!

On the politics i want to say "it can't get any worse"...........it can't, can it? We are already owned by another country, in a war, and a good deal of our jobs have been exported to that "kind and generous" country that lent our help (so how we will ever be paid off idk)....................

I would be hopeful except for the fact that china now wants our MI produce to be exported to them..........Sounds great until you remember that that's what happened with the factory jobs............they came, they saw, then they figured out how to do it cheaper...................So for now they will buy our produce, then they will see all the empty farms created by the poor economy that happened when our jobs got exported...........then they very well may be running the commercial operations in our state............and some wonder why there is such sudden opposition to our backyard operations............Gaaaaa.

I don't really get interested in the federal elections since that time when one president was announced a winner, then shortly after the votes were "recounted" and the other won...........But i may have to get more active in my state stuff, more and more i see the need.

I think I did something good/bad... A friend of my mom asked me to find a home for someones dog. They are taking him to the shelter tomorrow.
I don't know if there is anything wrong with him... he looks sweet!

What am I going to do with another dog??? I told her to get him and we would find a home for the poor guy!


Sorry... yeah. I am a groomer so I have to know how to get dogs... and some cats... to behave.
I go to my friends house and "CHT" her dogs and they roll over right away LOL She asked if I could come over every day!!!

Very cool, BYFM! I have two females that have hated each other from day one ten years ago. They regularly have these huge fights where they and me get hurt. I've done everything to get them to stop but our vet says it's not going to happen. Wish you were closer!!!

ANYWAY! We went down to vote. I was registered, my mom wasn't even though we went at the same time to change our IDs when we moved to this house. She's due to renew her ID in March, but man was she ticked off. Some how, she ended up not being registered, and she was near to tears because she couldn't vote. I told her, Hey, at least you went to vote. There are a lot of people who won't even get off the couch...

John, now he is on the sofa, glued to it. He is saying that Romney will win the south because the southerners are racist and do not want a black man to succeed. SO far, even though it isn't that many states, Romney is ahead. SO, those are now the racist states. LOL. You would have some one turn it into a racist thing instead of a political thing.

The guy in front of me was turned away, too. Said he was registered and had been voting there for 20 years, but they couldn't find him in the system....
I say, good for your mom in at least trying.

As for the south, I have a site up that shows current standings and it also shows who won each state during the last election. McCain took all the southern states so I would probably say they tend to lean Republican more than just that they are all playing the race card.

Oklahoma is considered part of the South. It's definitely connected to racism here - and extreme evangelicalism - which is almost the same. I think the overall attitude is to keep everyone barefoot, pregnant and poor. Easier to control that way. All the state questions passed - they all had to do with cutting taxes to corporations and defunding education.

For those who have not been forced to watch the elections - Obama wins ... and fb gets interesting lol

sorry I havent been around and I dont have time to read and catch up. My mom is hurt- something wrong with her knee, and her knee and lower leg and foot is extremely swollen and she is in excruciating pain. She cant move it or walk. Mom cant take pain meds= they make her extremely nauseated. I have been caring for her and for here and working.

Im exhausted, but I will catch up one of these days.
Kayla s doctor gave her two more new meds- but she is doing well.

I think when I retire I'll do some volunteer work with Dems in OK. But that's almost like asking to be shot - LOL! Open carry law just went into effect here. Ride em cowboy! The only claim to fame OK has to offer is that Elizabeth Warren grew up here. Maybe that's why she is such an activist for people in need.

WAY TO GO MICHIGAN!!!!

The way to fight things like China is to get representatives and senators in who will actually make changes. That's hard to do. Sometimes it all sounds very depressing but what's the alternative - you gotta keep fighting the good battle, even if that means little things like buying american and supporting small farms whenever you can.

Okay, election is over and my soapbox is tipped over. Back to chickens - YAY!

Females are actually dominate in the pack... they might not stop until one is truely dominate and the other fully submits... which may never happen...
10 years of fighting! That is a long time to be in disagreement!

That's what I think. The 'alpha' is a beautiful but onery australian shepherd/border collie mix. She's really smart and of course, wants to control space and herd everyone. The other is a golden/chow mix who does NOT want to be controlled. So on it goes...

Personally, if the major news stations were forced to actually report the news and not their biased version of the news, how many people would have seen the opposing candidates? When I was leaving yesterday evening, there was a couple there talking about the other candidates, and how they hadn't even heard of them. Now here is the sad part, How many potential better presidents could we have elected if they had the massive funding that obama and romney had? Of course, when romney was running low on funds, the sup-pacs were able to keep his messages on the air by their funding. BUT, you never saw/heard/read anything about the other hopefuls except Ron Paul, and not even enough about him.

I remember back in 92 when Clinton was running and Ross Perot was also running. I had a govt project (senior year) that had to follow ads, articles, etc about the major competitors for the job... I think they were running against Bush 1, anyway, The only reason Perot had his name out there as much as it was, was because he was loaded and bent his money to getting it out there and keeping it out there. I don't think he had a real chance in hades of winning, but his name was out there, EVERYONE knew who he was. There weren't people standing at the polls asking, "Who is this bird?"

But now you got these little guys who do not have that sort of money, even with the election fund provided by the govt, it really is not enough. It is not fair and balanced at all considering we are more than a two party system, but those two parties rule the roost, per-say, and not very many are in it for the little people. They are in it for their ambition and their bank accounts. We kick one out, we get another who is just the same, in a pretty new package, pandering to foreign powers, selling our jobs out from under us, and coming down hard on the little people to keep them little. BOTH SIDES do this. BOTH side blame the other.

Looking at the race results, I was surprised at how close the election really was. Just because obama got the majority of the electoral as needed, the popular vote was really by his teeth. I think he needs to look at that and rethink how close he really came to losing in a lot of states. A lot of states by just 1-2%. I am not sure it will make him rethink anything. I am sure it will just have his ego a little more blown up. The people who are standing in line going hip hip hooray, its another free money payday are certainly happy. Only it is not free, the money has to come from some place.

Don't get me wrong, there are people out there who legitimately need help, and I understand that. But there are more and more people like my kids dad who don't want to work. Refuse to work at a job that doesn't pay them what they "think" they are worth, so they'd rather sit home and collect unemployment for 2 years, go to college on the tax payers dime for the last 7 years, and get assistance from DHS, food banks, etc... and con the poop out of everyone on how hard they have it. BUT, they don't think, "hey this money comes from overseas borrowing." They think that the money comes from the govt, the govt is helping them, not that they are putting themselves and their great grandchildren in more and more debt to other countries.

And yeah, about China... Ya know, they are just going to do to us what we have done to other countries... Only China has been doing it to their own country and neighboring countries since before America was discovered. They really are in a down slope right now, but look, they are seriously climbing the ladder again, and we owe, YES WE, since we are the govt (supposedly, since we elect by the people for the people) them a lot of cash. My dad said that I aught to have my children taught Mandarin, so that way when they come here, and take over more an more, my kids would be able to compete for jobs better. LOL. I laughed my butt off behind his back on it. I am thinking, he "saw" more than I did at the time...

AS and BCs are herding breeds...round and round we go. They will herd anything that moves.
Goldens and chows are working breeds... used for hunting.

Both are wired to be USED! And both are double wired.

Chows are known to be tempermental... not mean but tempermental.

Both dogs (just by knowing their breeds) should be very eager to please.

Well, get prepared for "sticker shock". And neon colors mixed with awful prints.! Grrr. Holiday shopping has started already too, people everywhere! So i'm probably gonna switch to online shopping. Get what i want, avoid the crowd and the waffling over decisions that happens when i get "crowded"!

Too late to bat for the other team, lol. Not too late for a different roomie though, if i ever get my own place i will not be getting another man; more and more i think the idea of living seperate sounds good! That way you get to do the fun stuff together and none of the not so fun! lol. And i can have my girlie colors all over too! ha ha ha.
