Well, I am not thinking that what ever they are sick with isn't a contagion. I am thinking however that they are weaker chicks. They may have had not enough or too much heat. Save a chick would be good. Sans that, sugar water will work in a pinch. Being that they are only 2-3 days I would not give oatmeal or yogurt yet. I would give warm wet chick starter. They probably should have been given the save a chick from the get go once they had fluffed and were taken from the bator to the brooder. But then again, some people have chicks die pretty early on when they are incubating to brooder. Hope you get them to pull through though.
ANWAY...
How are you all doing tonight? My feet do not like me today. To much walking around and up and down the ladder yesterday. Tomorrow plan to finish up the project.
Fuzzy, I am thinking, if you are keeping the camper coop where it is, then maybe next spring, or when ever, I could help you build a hoop run coming off the side of the camper, even working it so that they pretty little garden area you have in the run is still in it. If you move it, I am thinking we could probably built a hoop run coming off the camper all the way around in a circle/hex pattern. Oh, think of the run space they'd have. I am a weirdo. I like to figure out how to do that stuff.
I didn't feel like pulling the tarp to the back yard today... I found some old chains that my dad had, oval bolted the tarp together on one end, hooked the chain to that, then hooked the chain over a large bolt that goes through the hinge hole, and my son asked me how I knew to do that. I asked him, "Do you have a brain?" He said, "Yes." I then asked, "Do you have an imagination?" He said yes, but who taught you how do that?" I said, No one taught me how to do that. I was gifted with a brain with an imagination to solve problems just like you. You just have to look at what the problem is, look at what you have, then use your imagination to make it all work." He tells me, "That's to hard. I went to school today, and my brain is on break until I go to school again tomorrow." You have got to be kidding me. I nearly ****** myself right there!
