Looks like a Narraganset to me.
On chicken names... Noodle became Noodle Doodle Nugget became Nuggeter LOL I like Arm and Hammer powder laundry soap... lasts me FOREVER for $16. I also read somewhere that you really only need 1/3 of what the tell you to use... I use 1/2 or what they recommend unless the load is really dirty. Had one that lived for 6 years... Stupid feeder fish... He would splash you as you walked by... No joke! Loved to be pet too...

Nova an aquarium shop / tropical fish store usually carries the sealer that you can purchase to reseal you old tank. seal to fish back home time is usually a day or two. Don't use regular caulking stuff though it can be toxic.
Been very busy here grand kids got here Thursday evening, so our Thanksgiving wasn't until yesterday.
My 13 year old granddaughter made the pumpkin pies while mom was at work Thursday P.M. everything was going good until she dropped the spice jar on the floor. I had been multi-tasking.
She had already put that spice in the pie mix. As she picked up the the jar she said "Grandma this is CHILI POWDER not cinnamon". There went two pies down the disposal. Good thing we had planned on making 4 pies. Left us with 2 for dinner but that was enough.
Our septic tank had also started backing up. I didn't know trying to save money would be so much work. They said they would charge more for digging an access hole to the tank. so I dug it open. Only to find out that it is a TWO chamber tank and they had to dig a hole another two feet down to get to it.
Yesterday was one of those days where I was beginning to pray it didn't come in threes. I was in the shower and heard my GD start yelling for her mom. A log had rolled out of the fireplace and scorched the carpet. I have a fire rug in front of the hearth but wouldn't you know from my GS playing with his hot-wheels it was about six inches from the hearth.
I than had to go to town as my oldest DD forgot to purchase somethings for dinner and I had a b-day gift to buy anyway. We had two grand kids with b-days too.
Got back home in time to see smoke billowing out my front door with DH about a minute behind me. MY OVEN CAUGHT ON FIRE. My DH had been gone from home for three weeks and was welcomed home to this.
Dinner was delayed almost 2 hours later than planned but I still have a house, everyone is OK, Oven still works, and bellies were stuffed. All turned out well. But my adrenalin is used up for the rest of the year!
Going to be about 50 Saturday I think I will wait till then to put up outdoor decorations.
On another good note my hen that survived the hawk attack is recovering nicely, slow but good.
Everyone have a good day!

Well Rusty, I guess you were not to have a boring old Thanksgiving get together were you?! I am glad you're ok and the house is ok, and the oven is ok. I personally wouldn't have dumped the pumpkin pie... I would have marked them, and had a nice little prank while the video camera was running. HEHE. I am a deviant.

Today was a bad day for some pedestrian crossing US31 and Riley... Not a nice thing to see, some poor bloke running to get across the highway, and another bloke turning right onto the highway, not paying any dam attention to the fact that there is a guy crossing, hits the gas pedal and runs the guy over... The pedestrian was about 10 feet from having gotten all the way across a 4 lane highway...

Well, remember me yippee-ing about getting an exercise bike? Well, my kid broke it... Yup, lol. He would pedal forward as fast as he could, then suddenly change directions... Threw the chain. Today, I finally was able to get the housing off... real PITA too. Got the chain back on, the tension belt tightened back into place and am ready to go. I am not telling him it is fixed... HEHE.

I am just going to move up on the tank size. This fish is as long as my hand and I think he'd be happier in a bigger tank. Yup.. he needs space. (I want a bigger tank and a few new fish.)

Oh, that's funny!

Hey, everyone!

Man, if you are in Oklahoma, it is so cold right now!!

So, lately, we've been having a huge problem with a cat getting into the coop and badly wounding chickens. I keep catching it before it kills the. Well, now I am fed up with it. I am gonna trap that cat!!! Hee hee! Since it has killed two chickens, our favs, of course, revenge is gonna be sweet. My dad agreed that if I trap it, he'll take it to the pound!

I have two options: Trap the cat myself with my idea of a trap, or get our neighbor, Mr. Laurence's help. He is a professional trapper and traps anything for free! Which is really awesome and very nice of him. I do feel sorry for sending someones beloved pet to the pound, but they need to keep their beloved pet under control. If they really care about this cat, they'll call all the animal shelters around here, and get it back. Otherwise, the cat will either get a new home, or die in the pound. Oh well. I tried to just run it off, but it is far too persistent.

X 2 on that one for sure !!!!

Don't be ridiculous, Olive would have told her where to get a good bottle of Sweet & Sour Sauce and been done with it.

Those turkeys are Narrs.

This probably won't last long, but KIM, I hope it cheers you up because I see you need it! Chin up, woman. Thinking of you.
