The chicken feed you purchase at your local mill or feed store didn't/doesn't contain Roxarsone, the source of arsenic discussed in the article you linked. So you should have no fear of arsenic contamination in your backyard flock.

Jim- that's good to know, although if we eat chicken meat from these large "farms" we are ingesting arsenic...
