Heads up for gardeners and chicken keepers - unfortunately they do not do similar classes for ducks - Feb. 10, 2012 and again on Feb 11th, 2012, “What the Cluck?! Part I: Introduction to keeping chickens in your garden” at the Northwest Flower and Garden Show

Seattle Tilth did a limited series of seminars on keeping ducks this past spring. Of course I missed all of them! But, I try to check out the website occasionally in case they come up again.

They had a weekend class the weekend after I got my first ducklings. Talked to them at the time, and they didn't plan on doing another any time soon. Didn't get as many takers for that as they do their chicken classes. WSU Livestock advisors has Focus on Farming series in January that should have several duck classes (based on prior years schedule) - the new schedule comes out in November I think.
