FYI Worlds Biggest Chicken Egg

A chicken egg at Jiangshu Province, Wu Qiaozhen Village, China. With a length of 9.4 cm, diameter of 6 cm and weighing 198 grams, it is the largest in the world. The previous record holder has a length of 7.9 cm, diameter of 6.4 cm and weights 176 grams.

I do like useless information! After collecting what I thought was a colossal egg from a nesting box a few weeks ago, I actually tried finding this information out! I weighed and measured the double yolker...a common Jumbo sized egg that weighed just over 72 grams.

But I couldn't find the info on the world's largest chicken egg. If that is indeed the size...

Poor little hen!

I looked it up on line. There is a pic of it as well. That's one big egg. I would of liked to of seen the chicken that laid it.
