I have 3 12 week old Easter Egger cockerels that I need to re-home before they start crowing and my neighbors kill me.
I am in the Kennesaw area of GA.
All of these are bred from my own chickens, you can see the moms and father when you come to pick them up. Their father is a VERY gentle EE roo, and a big one, and I kept him because it is my goal to breed for gentle roosters. All 3 of these EEs have been handled extensively by me and my children since they were a day old
1. EE cockerel with "columbian"-ish markings. His base is white with black around his neck and black tail feathers, with some brownish hues.
He looks a lot like his father and, so far, has a very sweet temperament.
His mother is a blue wheaten Ameraucana.
[I had a hard time getting a good shot of him, he's prettier than these pictures look].
2. EE x Australorp cockerel - this is the most beautiful little cockerel I've ever seen. I'm trying to breed "olive eggers" that lay as well as my australorps do and this is my "first generation".
This boy's father is my big, gentle EE and his mother is one of my sweet pure blood Black Australorp hens.
He turned out gorgeous. I hope you can see the copper and green coloring he has in the pics - it is very striking in the sunlight. He has a very sweet disposition as well so far.
3. EE x cochin mix. This little reddish gold guy is a cross between my big, gentle EE roo and my fluffy red cochin mix hen. He will probably be a little smaller than "standard" [his mom is a large bantam].
He also is very pretty and very sweet.
And, just to see where these boys came from, here is their father "Prince". Prince is not for sale [he's priceless LOL!
].
Please contact me if you are interested. They are free to a good home.
