GA Storms!! Is the Newnan, Ga (Chattahoochee Valley) show still on?

The Chattahoochee Valley Poultry Assoc. Poultry Show is supposed to be held in Newnan, GA this Saturday. I am in FL and saw on the news that Newnan, GA had damage from the storms on Wed.

Does anyone know if the show is still going to be held? I have tried to get ahold of the show secretary, but have not been able to, phone must be out. It is a 9 hour drive for me, so I want to be sure it is still going.

Yes, the show is still scheduled to take place. I have spent all night bathing my cochins

What a job!!!!! I need my head examined for choosing cochins as my main exibition breed!

Whew! I am right there with you! I still have 3 more silkies to bathe! I finally did get ahold of the show secretary and she said everything was fine, the really bad storms were mostly south of them.

Looking forward to meeting other BYC people at the show!

Everyone needs to put a BYC name tag on so we can find each other!
