GAAH!!! Another Love Letter from A.A.R.P. Today

I've been getting love letters from them since I was in my 30's.

A couple more weeks and I'll be old enough to join.

I've been getting AARP stuff for a few years now, and I'm only 38. If they think they are ever getting one thin dime of my money, they've got another think coming.

My wife joined AARP. I refused based upon their leftist political stance. Why should I financially support an organization that is dedicated to my political and financial destitution?

AARP sent me my first letter, on my 40th birthday (only card I got that too!!)

But the kicker is my 22 year old son, just got a letter from the scooter store and he can have a free mobility assessment..... he would ask if they could add special exhaust and boost the speed up.....

I kept getting mail from them too.

They finally stopped. I guess they didn't like having to pay to send it , and pay to get it back blank except for my writing "STOP SENDING ME THIS GARBAGE!!!!! I don't get anything anymore

I don't want to get into bashing A.A.R.P. - I'm sure they do a lot of good for Retired People. I'm just not there yet. I think one of the wine makers used to say "We will sell no wine before its time". Here's my take on that: "I will open no solicitations from A.A.R.P. before my time."

And, I'll bet you are going to refuse your senior discount when you are eligible.

I simply refuse to look in the mirror and most days I feel relatively young.
