It was 79* today, and all this week the highs are all around the sixties, with the lows in the 30's and 40's, and some days are thunderstorms and others completely sunny. WHAT? Ugh! This better be the last frost, I tell ya! My chicks spend the whole day outside, and sleep in the brooder. Well I was planning to move them outside for good on Friday. So much for that! I'll have to go big brooder hunting, I guess.

Here comes a miserable week, with daily brooder clean outs!

Darn you, mother nature!

Just think I was out by the pens today and realized the snow was still up to the top of the fencing(4 feet). I can't remember this much snow on the ground this late in the winter...UGH

Yesterday it didn't get above 40 degrees and it was snowing (not sticking as it rained overnight, so the ground was still wet).

Today, it was warm (60's??) and DH spent all day fixing the fence with nothing more than a tshirt, jeans and light jacket (which at times was still too warm).
