Introducing myself from central Florida. I am new to raising chickens with our first an Orpington Buff hen. She is very friendly and has been giving us brown eggs. She has a free run daily in our 1/4 fenced and protected yard, on our 10 acres. I am an avid grower of vegetables and hope to find out what she might enjoy me growing for her.

I grow catnip for my cats (of course) and usually just throw it out for them to enjoy but was concerned it might be harmful to chickens?
