After making his rounds...yet again, Dour returned to his herd. He did a quick headcount to be sure no one was missing.

"I guess I'll have to snake you away then!" He lowered his head to the ground, and began to nudge and nip her to where he wanted her to go.

"Right." Dusky trotted up alongside Titan. She snorted. "Analiya's my filly, Titan. You should realize she shares my volatile personality."

Dour looked at Aurora, but he didn't approach her. At the moment, he was in no mood for interaction. The encounter with Titan had gotten him riled, as it always did, and the grullo stud still needed sleep.

"Annalise!" He whinnied loudly. "Keep watch, will you?"

Dour didn't wait for an answer; he found a spot and stretched out. Almost immediately, the stud was lost in the deep REM sleep.
