Flare flicked an ear then looked up from grazing. She had winded another horse, a mare.

Flare turned her head and nipped an itchy spot on her side. She looked at Zoe. "I don't recall. Several, at least."

Flare hadn't kept up with the months this time, as she had expected to abort this foal as she had her last one.
