Dusky had stopped running. Now, she stood, gasping heavily. She lashed her tail angrily and giving Titan the cold-shoulder, walked away, still veering away from the herd.

"You better steer yourself towards the herd, if you know what's good for you," he growled. He sent a kick to her rump, but his aim was off. His hoof only grazed her hindquarters, instead of giving her the blow he had imagined.

Dusky reacted by kicking out a hind leg, though her aim was nil. She didn't look back only kept walking. "Will you just go away, Titan?"

The blue roan's attention wasn't on Titan anymore; it was on ever-increasing contractions.
