Mark wouldn't correct his half brother, he just turned to Avery and smiled "I won't let anyone hurt you" He said softly.

Sonya stepped foward and nuzzled Glacier

Kongo snorted, suddenly realizing he'd been talking about the wrong filly. Indignant, he stomped away.

Glacier nickered gently and nuzzled Sonya in return.

Zephyra nodded "He acts different" She said softly nuzzling her friend, then her colt. Then looking up at Sage

Cinders sighed heavily, almost completely relaxed. Zephyra seemed to have that affect on the grullo filly. "Yes, he does. I just...can't seem to trust him fully."

Ember turned her head to look at him while she walked. She nickered, licking her lips in submission. She had been mated, so a new foal would come soon to replace Sandy.

Dour trotted alongside Ember for several yards then headed towards the front where Annalise was. "Annalise?" he whinnied.

Sky nodded. She couldn't argue with that.

Dusky snorted and continued, "Anyway, it doesn't matter. Titan won't lose, so that other stud won't be snaking any of us!"

The blue roan had complete confidence in her stallion.

Ace felt Titan's teeth close around skin. He tore lose and aimed hard kicks at the stud's belly.

Ash was growing much too interested in the studs fighting. She had turned completely around and was staring, unblinking, at them.

Flare had emerged from hiding, also enthralled with watching Ace and Titan.

Tango nodded, and looked around. Then he herded his mares back to his meadow by nipping their haunches gently. 

Sleet and Twilight moved off together, going where Tango was directing them.

Kaliska followed, flickering her tail. Tango gently pushed Daisy, Farylyn, Fada and the colt into the meadow to keep tabs on them. He backed off and watched over his small that was growing in number. 

Farylyn whipped around to face Tango. "I never said me or anybody else was staying," she growled. "I'm gonna bet that Vanner's gonna be after me again and you aren't going to like fighting him off, are you?"

Tango yawned. "Who's Vanner?" he asked and smiled. "You'll be safer here, then out by yourself." he stretched his head down toward Fada and swished his long golden tail. 

Farylyn squealed, and thrust her body between Tango and Fada. Fada moved back, her eyes showing white.

Titan tore himself out if Ace's jaws, backed up, bucked, throwing Ace skyward.

Ash had turned her head just enough to watch the fight. Titan was impressive, but this fickle mare wanted to bear the strongest stud's foals. That would be whoever ran the other stud away.

Ace had dodged the attack. He spun around Titan and swung his head around to hit Titan's. 



(I must ask you to let me decide my character's injury. Please. Horses can't fling another stallion skyward. It's not physically possible. Also, please allow your horse to take some damage every three posts during battle.

( Some of your posts have not allowed me to choose my stallion's injury. And my idea of 'skyward' is just for the hooves to leave the ground for a second or two. )



Titan growled as the world went blurry. He backed up and charged, getting ready to brace himself as he barreled towards the stallion's chest.

(Yes, I know. But I do not have my characters do things such as biting for the jugular or other very damaging attacks in those posts. Oh, I didn't get that idea. I'm sorry, how about we both try to do correct posts now? =) )


Ace bulked himself up and returned the charge. Both stallions smashed together and Ace grunted loudly. 

( Titan never went for the jugular. )


Titan stiffened at the blow and lunged for Ace's neck.

Titan grumbled as he felt the blows. He lifted up his head, and bolted towards Ace's side.
