Fatimah woke up from her slumber, and began to thrash violently until she stopped abruptly. Barq, who had been dozing peacefully by his mother's side, jumped up at glared at Cemal. "See what you did!"

The horrified Cemal glanced over at Fatimah from where he was laying. Having suffered from some dreadful guilt after the brawl, he did not respond to his foal. Instead, he took it, he took his words and accepted them. Part of him really wanted to believe what Barq said was true.

Dusky came forward. "Titan's right, Isabel. Dour's a jerk."

Dour pricked his ears. "Brainwashed Dusky, have you now?"

Choosing to ignore Dour, he eagerly said, "Go on!"
