"It's me," Annalise grumbled, giving him another kick to the rear. "Wake up, out of your daydream."

Zephyra looked around, then walked to her dam to nurse.
Aurora stood watching, she looked at her filly "Who is your new friend?" She asked
"Cinders" Zephyra answered then went back to nursing

Cinders watched Aurora nervously. Any one of these mares could drive her out of the herd, but she figured no one but Dour would recognize her.

Aurora flicked her tail, and just watched the borders. She was happy to have a foal that was old enought to run off Zephyra's energy, as long as they didn't stray
Zephyra finally finished and lay down to rest

Flare lifted her head and gazed at Sage. She knew what he was doing; he was courting her. "Sorry, buddy," she said. "I don't breed at-first-sight."

Cinders had discovered that she missed drinking Ash's milk. Well, Black Ice's, actually, as Ash had refused to let her filly nurse. The grullo filly stared at Aurora's udder longingly.

Dour, shaken out of his stupor somewhat, kicked in reaction to being kicked...again. Thankfully, the trunk was supporting him, or he would've fallen over. His hind hooves came crashing down, and he staggered forward. "I'm fine!" he snapped.

Slowly, the grullo stud started walking, heading back toward where he'd left his herd.

(Annalise led him to an apple tree, but instead of eating apples from the branches, he ate the fermenting apples on the ground. Dour would have the hardest time trying to mount Chestnut right now, but it would be comical)
