Cinders felt a chill run through her body. Aurora had nearly figured it out! Shaking off her concern, she continued nursing. Cinders was quite confident: she could stay until Dour returned.

Aurora was beginning to wonder when Dour would return, with three foals nursing from her she was getting tired. She looked at Cochise nickering to him, then resumed her watch. "Ash must of been from Dour's former herd" She said to Cinders

Cinders released Aurora's teat, happily filled with her warm milk. She licked her lips then nodded at Aurora before she knew what she was doing. "Dusky and my dam were of Dour's former herd."

"Thank you." Flare watched Sage a moment then wandered away. She found the stud attractive, but bad memories were telling her not to mate with him.
