Arwen and Eowyn kept watch over the four foals left in their care. Arwen was beginning to worry about Black Ice. She whinnied for her friend

Tango worked his way to her rear, and took her tail in his teeth playfully. He nickered softly.

Twilight wasn't sure about this move, and she raised a hind leg in readiness. She'd never had a stud playing around back there.

Tango took a message. He let go of her tail and nibbled on her mane.

"Well..... Bye." Kaliska said and took off at a sprint.

Farylyn watched her take off, her facial expression portraying her longing. She quickly turned back to her foal, but not before her eyes swiped over the sleeping herd below.

Black Ice returned, looking fuller and well-rested. Approaching Arwen, she lowered her head and nickered softly.

Kaliska dashed through the territory and leaped over the border. She felt free!
