Star looked up at Sano, her eye lids heavily with exhaustion. "Hello Sano." She smiled weakly.
 
Ziza paced outside, her own stomach now twisting and contracting painfully. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly. 'Please be a girl' she thought. Sano had run her last foal off when he was still young. She didn't want to lose another of her foals. Her stomach cramped again. She paced faster, knowing it would be hours before the foal came.

Star saw the looked and was crestfallen. She loved her son, but one day, and all to soon he would be driven out.
