Panther leapt over a boulder, charged full speed in a tight figure-eight around a few trees, then reared as high as he could, pawing his massive hooves and neighing. he was ready to fight.

Hokota stood high, watching over his mares and sons, he flicked his, slapping away flies. He shook his head, wishing the breeze would pick up.

Panther bucked, kicking a young tree as hard as he could with his hind hooves. with a snap the tree fell over. he leaped over it, then started steadily trotting towards Evergreenherd. he was tempted to gallop as fast as he could, but he couldn't afford to waste any more energy.

Hokota moved back into the tree line, searching for some relief from the afternoon sun. He watched as flame bucked and fell over. He smiled contentedly

as Evergreenherd came into his line of sight. Panther sped up to a gallop, rearing magestically as Hokota came into his veiw. the feathers on his hooves fluttered in the breeze.

Firefly chuffed and laughed at her colt. Feeling invigorated, she cantered around the clearing, letting her long tail flow behind her

Firefly froze and whinnied for her colt, flame ran to his mother's side.
