Tornado heard whining in the distance. He tossed his mane, *pfft, silly foal must have strayed. Some stallion will probably hear* He thought, ignoring the sound, he lowered his head to graze. Tornado normally was one to check things out, but he was in a carefree mood and was kind of tired as well.

Shawnee heard and noise coming from a foal. She lifted her head and perked her ears.

Kamali grazed with Riverherd.

Sahara belted out one more tiny neigh. Rain ignored her, so she did it again. "Shush!" Rain finally said. Sahara kicked up her heels, and bucked a little ways off.

 

[Zinnia-Hen]

Dalyla was completely hushed amongst the bramble, keeping camouflaged despite her size and bright glint of her coat. Slowly, ever so slowly, she inched forward, taking special care not to make much of an impression with her mammoth hooves. The mare took curious peeks at the mother and child when she could, looking about at their resources and pondering upon what she could possibly take for herself.

Tornado's ears pinned, he didn't like the sound of the filly's sharp neigh. He lifted his head and snorted. *Pfft, that foal better be quiet*

 

[Zinnia-Hen]

Dalyla's ears flicked and rotated about upon hearing the stallion, her muscles suddenly flexing. She just couldn't help but snort, which quite unfortunately, revealed her hiding place. She cursed under her labored breath.

Tornado ears perked to the sound of the snort. His head twisted to Dalyla's hiding area. He was still about 30 feet away but noticed that a mare was hiding. He normally would go check it out but unless bothered, he would leave the mares and foal alone.

 

[Zinnia-Hen]

She snorted again, but this time, much louder. Dalyla spun around on her haunches to face Tornado, staring him dead in the eyes. Her ears gradually began to fall back.

Tornado snorted. *Who does she think she is* He stomped his hoof and pinned his ears.

Rain shot her head up, and saw a Stallion and Mare on either side of her. Sahara saw them too, and shuffled to her mothers side. Rain snorted, and stamped her hooves. Her ears flattened against her head.

"Thats pretty." Onyx said. "Uh, what herd are you in?" he asked cautiously .

"I'm..... I'm from the herd that lives here, by the river" She lied.
