Game bird feed for red Rangers?

My local COOP has a game bird feed they mill right here, it's a 24% protein feed. It's about half the price of Purina flock raiser. This is our first attempt on meat birds, so I thought I'd ask to make sure that's suitable. The rangers and some more Orpingtons and Speckled Sussex will all get here the 2nd week of March...really looking forward to this!

I start all of my chicks with game bird starter. The brand I use is actually 28% protein. and I use it for the first two weeks in meaties and three weeks in DP chicks. I give it to my DP chicks for 3 weeks. I also use it with my broodies and their chicks. It seems to help her gain her weight back more quickly.
