Game bird feed prices

I know Chukars and Pheasants are good eaters and can consume one pound or more a week in feed. Is anyone purchasing feed in bulk (starter 28 % protein) by the ton. I will be grateful for any information

We have a feed mill about 30 miles from us that still does custom grinding. I don't go through enough starter to have it made, but I do have my adult feed custom ground. I get about 1200 pounds every 3-4 weeks. I like the fact that I choose what is put in it and it is cheaper than buying bagged feed.

I have been able to pick up bits of information on prices and it appears to be approximately 750$ at ton. I don't know if this is close to an actual or average price. I guess the price of corn and other factors will keep game feed high for quite a while.
